Help ripping DVDs - I think there might be piracy protection to remove first

So I went to Japan, and bought a couple JAV DVDs that I couldn't find online.
AESP-002 from S.P.C. and MS-07 from Milky Cat.
I'm trying to rip them into video, both for easier storage and for sharing. But HandBrake crashed a few times, and when it didn't, the video was corrupted into a pink and green mess.
Are there any specific softwares or extra steps needed to do what I'm attempting to do?

    Thanks for your help!

You'll need to provide more info, what OS are you using? What apps have you tired to rip the discs already?
Also you can not post Milky-Cat even after successfully ripping it.

    I'm on a Windows 7 PC (32bits) with HandBrake 1.0.7
Thanks for the your help and the reminder about MC titles. I won't post it (here at least).

Watch this video on youtube. It will explain where to find a special .dll file when installed into handbrake allows ripping of dvd's. It really works.
